Intertwining real and fictional, my fashion serves as a tool of communication and world-building. Here comes the universe and a tale where an often-overlooked, overshadowed man becomes overpowered. Not only can he deliver his own poem, but also adopt my words, cementing a present moment for both contemporaries and ancestors from all over: whether it is the weary Caucasus Mountains, the smoky slopes of Central Asia, the Mediterranean Sea, or the mighty Atlantic.

Sayat-Nova (Armenian: ՍԱՅԵԱԹ-ՆՈՎԱՅ; Georgian: ᲡᲐᲘᲐᲗᲜᲝᲕᲐ; Azerbaijani / Persian: نووا سایات) was an Armenian 17th-century troubadour known for his love songs, which were written mainly in Armenian, but also in Persian, Georgian, and Azeri Turkish.

Einar is an Armenian-Azeri who was born and raised in Georgia. This photoshoot took place during Azerbaijan’s invasion of Armenia in September 2022. This is as far as Ruslan Nasir’s AW2022 called «My Old Man» can go: we’ve been encapsulating rivalrous bloodshed in a body of one here, forever.

Gurgen Sarkisyan

Hi, I’m Gurgen Sarkisyan, an electronic music proponent of Yerevan, Moscow, and Klaipeda (Lithuania) in the past. I often appear or disappear among alternative communities of 2 continents. Because of that, I find it necessary to keep things minimal. In particular, dry-aged minimal & micro house music. Organized over 120 events as a member of the Pakhauz Club and Resilience promo since 2016. Most of my problems were packed in 23 kilos of allowed baggage for the last 10 years, so I was lucky to randomly meet Ruslan in NYC and do my first photoshoot for his new collection.
