I'm Merie Lin, a fashion and portrait photographer who adores capturing women's natural beauty. I prefer realness over heavy makeup and complex hairstyles. I enjoy taking risks and love working with models who are open and bold in front of my camera. When I approach photography, I see my models as reflections of myself, treating them with the same care and respect I'd want for myself. A quote from a renowned photographer deeply resonates with me: "In my pictures, you can see I didn't get scared to fall in love with my models." This idea holds significant meaning for me. I aim to capture the essence of each individual, revealing their unique character and emotion. Every photo I take tells a story, focusing on subtle details and moments of vulnerability that make each person extraordinary. Collaboration is vital to my process because I believe the best results come from sharing a vision and mutual respect. My style is simple yet intimate, drawing inspiration from everyday life and the beauty found in ordinary moments. I strive to create images that speak to the heart, inviting viewers to connect with the stories they tell. As I grow as a photographer, I remain committed to authenticity and creativity. Each new project is a chance to explore, learn, and evolve, leaving a lasting impression on both myself and those who view my work.
Hello! I'm Gia, a fashion stylist based in Yerevan.
Since I can remember, my heart belonged to fashion, and from a very young age, I had this very big dream to have my legacy in the fashion world. My journey began when I was studying at the State College of Art after Panos Terlemezyan. Initially, I wanted to become a fashion designer, and after graduating I wanted to apply to Parsons in NY but because of COVID-19 and the ongoing war my plans tore apart, and I had to stay and figure out what I was gonna do. I got into State Pedagogical University's fashion design faculty, but soon I realized that studying there was only limiting the perspective of my career I quit and discovered styling. So with the help of my dearest friends, I started to do experimental photoshoots but soon enough I realised I needed proper education. I found a local fashion school "Atex Fashion Center" where I studied and got my qualification in costume history and fashion styling.
As I continued to do creative projects, I discovered local stylists and photographers and to my surprise, I found my first job as a stylist assistant while studying! It was so surreal because I adored my job and it gave me huge experience and networks to bigger opportunities. I was lucky enough to be one of the stylists of the digital cover of Harper's Bazaar Serbia's October issue in 2022. Now I am proud to say that I have worked with Chronograph Armenia, Arooma Fragrance, Trend scouting agency, and Concept by Vremena Goda. To this day I am trying to form my signature, hoping one day my work will appear on the cover of Vogue.
