There’s something cosmic about finding your soul mate on the other side of the world. A girl from Los Angeles and a girl from Yerevan. It doesn’t matter that you’re both Armenian - you’ve been formed and molded by two completely different worlds. Different languages, different cultures, different values, different societal expectations of how to be a woman. And yet, you meet someone who is exactly like you in so many ways - your mirror image. As if you’ve been molded by the same creator. Then you teach each other the languages, dissect the different cultures, pick and choose which values you both align with and which you don’t; and you realize that a relationship can work not only in perfect symbiosis, but it takes on a life force of its own to overcome seemingly impossible barriers and limitations. It makes you believe in the magic of destiny.
