There was a time when I exclusively wanted to be a film director, shooting feature films. However, as cinema proved to be a complex field, everything became blurred, and I started expressing myself in different ways: taking photos, writing, and making documentary films. In any case, my main activity is almost always related to visuals. I won't claim to have something entirely new or unique to say; it's just my primary means of expression and the most stable among my many interests. I find myself entangled in conflicts with society and, more significantly, with myself. Through my art, I seek to value people and, at the very least, address some internal struggles. I cherish moments when time passes slowly, like observing children sitting in the sun in their backyards. It creates an illusion that life is infinite, and they could sit there for a hundred years, only to move on to other things when they tire. However, over the past few years, I have come to realize that life has a limited amount of time. I tend to extract from within rather than allowing outside influences to fill me up. To give you a better understanding of who I am, I am like a pit where an abundance of information has flowed in, yet too little has come out. I am like a swamp - a haven for croaking frogs, a fertile soil of mixed weeds, a dim reflection of the moonlight.
I am Marattt, an emotional, visual, and sound artist.
