Elina Erkanyan

I’m Elina, a Yerevan-based young multidisciplinary artist stuck between the worlds of the imaginative and the real. Studying writing and media at the American University of Armenia and working as a content creator/writer, I’ve tried myself in different spheres. However, what I have been passionate about throughout my entire life is art and its many different creative forms. As a digital artist, I create illustrations, comics, and animations that evoke feelings and document reality in unconventional ways. As a photographer, I bring people’s attention to things they don’t usually notice and create unique themes around my models and their personalities. As a writer, poet, and starting filmmaker, I touch upon the dramatic aspects of people’s lives, reflect on real events through creative vision, and tell human stories. These creative forms are extensions of my soul and the lenses that I see the world through.

The recent 70s-inspired photoshoot is a product of my immense love for the rock and hippie culture. Aside from being a breaking period for rock music and the fashion associated with it, it was also a time of liberation, bold ideas, and self-expression that helped thousands of people find their voice. These were the traits that I noticed in my models - young, aspiring artists, forming the new art communities in Armenia.

Ani (Anuk)

I'm Ani, but known to everyone as Anuk. I’m a film director by profession. Movies have always been my greatest source of inspiration, shaping my style and influencing the way I see the world. I’ve embraced this cinematic influence in my own life, striving to make each day an adventure and every moment a scene worth remembering. Photography is another one of my favorite tools with which I seek out new experiences and challenges to keep the story of my life engaging and fulfilling.

Nairy

My name is Nairy, I'm 17 years old. I am an artist and a future fashion designer. I was always inspired by the 70s era, especially the disco scene and its queer background. This era inspired my music taste, my fashion sense, and my creative vision.

Lara

I’m Lara Khachatryan, an artist whose creations are inspired by the daily encountered details, which I express from a new perspective. My art is about the old, the new that has become the familiar and the unfamiliar.

Levon

I’m Levon, a young, aspiring musician and songwriter. My current music project, “Kangar,” aims to bring new ideas and mindsets to modern Armenian music, activate the young artist community, and encourage people to view Armenian folk music and the Armenian language from a different perspective.
